The bar chart shows how residents in a certain city do physical exercise.About half of them prefer to work out alone(54.3%) or with friends(47.7%).By contrast,exercising with family members and in a group are less popular among fitness lovers, with merely 23.9%and 15.8% of them choosing these two forms respectively.

There are two major reasons to explain this phenomenon.First and foremost,facing the increasingly fierce social competition, the majority of people today tend to lead a hectic life.Aga ainst this background, it is unrealistic for them to participate in group fitness classes in the gym after work, especially when they have to work overtime.Another key contributor is that a growing number of young adults now live far away from home.This allows little opportunity for them to do a workout together with their parents.

   In the foreseeable future, the trend reflected in this chart is expected to continue. It is suggested that everyone should develop a good habit of taking regular exercise,no matter how it is done.
